Firestick Downloader Codes for IPTV Apps (2026): The Only Three You Need

The official Downloader codes for TiviMate (272483), IPTV Smarters Pro (6468112) and HotPlayer (395800) — plus how to use them and how to spot a fake code.

At Fireview TV we set up thousands of viewers every month, so this walkthrough is written from real experience with 20,300+ channels across every device.

If Downloader is already open and you just want the number, here it is. Everything else on this page is below the table.

How to use a Downloader code

A Downloader code is just a shortcut. Instead of typing a long web address on a TV remote, you type six digits and Downloader looks up the address for you.

  1. Open the Downloader app on your Firestick.
  2. Select the address box at the top of the Home tab.
  3. Type the six digits — nothing else. No “www”, no “.com”, no spaces.
  4. Press Go. The download starts on its own.
  5. When it finishes, select Install, then Open.

If the code does nothing

Two causes account for almost every failure, and neither is the code.

1. Downloader does not have permission

This is the big one. A Firestick will not install anything from outside Amazon’s store until you allow it, and the failure message never explains why. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and switch Downloader on.

If you do not see Developer options at all, open Settings → My Fire TV → About and press select seven times on your device name first.

2. Something extra got typed

Six digits and nothing else. Downloader keeps a history, so an earlier entry sometimes lingers in the box — clear it fully before typing.

Be careful which codes you use

This is worth two minutes of your time. A Downloader code installs software on your TV, and there is no store review standing between you and whatever it fetches.

Codes passed around in YouTube comments, Facebook groups and forum threads frequently point at repackaged builds — a real app rebuilt by somebody else, sometimes with a subscription hardcoded in, sometimes with more than that. They install and they appear to work, which is exactly why they spread.

  • Use codes published by the app’s own developer — the three above are.
  • Be suspicious of any code that arrives with a free subscription attached. Nobody gives away a working line with an install code.
  • Never enter your Amazon password or card details during an app install. Nothing legitimate asks.
  • If an app asks to be “activated” with a payment on first launch, uninstall it.

Which app should you install?

Short answer: IPTV Smarters Pro (6468112) if you want everything working free, including films and series. TiviMate (272483) if you mostly watch live TV and want the best channel guide on Fire TV — its free version covers live TV, with films, recording and catch-up behind a small yearly Premium payment to TiviMate’s developer.

You can install both. They take the same subscription details, they do not interfere, and having a second player is the quickest way to work out whether a problem is the app or the stream.

The codes install the app, not the channels

Worth being clear, because the phrase “free IPTV Downloader codes” gets used loosely. These codes install a player, and a player is an empty window. It shows nothing until you give it a server URL, a username and a password from a subscription.

The apps are genuinely free. The service they point at is what you pay for — and it is what decides whether channels start in one second or five, whether the TV guide is filled in, and whether anything works at eight o’clock on a Saturday.

Fireview TV runs about 20,300 live channels and 171,000 films and series over a real Xtream Codes connection with the guide included, so all three of these apps work fully. You also choose which countries you actually want, so your Firestick is not pulling a worldwide list it will never show you. Details arrive by email the moment you sign up.

What is the Downloader code for TiviMate?

272483. Enter it in Downloader’s address box and press Go. It is TiviMate’s own code, published by the developer.

What is the Downloader code for IPTV Smarters Pro?

6468112, from the official IPTV Smarters site.

What is the Downloader code for HotPlayer?

395800, published by HotPlayer itself.

Are Downloader codes free?

Yes — both Downloader and the codes cost nothing, and all three apps here install free. A code only installs the player; you still need a subscription for it to show any channels.

Why is my Downloader code not working?

Almost always because Downloader has not been given permission to install apps. Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps → switch Downloader on. Failing that, check you typed the six digits alone with nothing left in the box from a previous entry.

Is it safe to install apps with Downloader codes?

The method is safe — it is the standard Android way of installing an app, and the permission applies to Downloader alone rather than the whole device. What matters is the source. Use codes published by the app’s own developer, and be wary of ones shared in comments or forums, which often point at modified builds.

Do I need to keep Downloader after installing?

No, but keep it. It costs almost nothing in storage and you will want it again for updates or a second player.

Will these codes work on a Fire TV Stick 4K Max?

Yes, and on every other Fire TV — Stick, Lite, 4K, 4K Max, Cube, and Fire TV built into a television. The process is identical on all of them.

Once you're set up, Fireview TV keeps it simple: 171,000+ titles on demand, sport in HD, and support that actually answers. Try it risk-free for 30 days.
